About Me

Hi! I’m Serbay, a Business Lecturer currently teaching at a university in Bangkok, Thailand. I specialize in teaching core business modules to students aged 16 to 25, primarily from Myanmar. Our university offers a University Foundation Program and a Bachelor of Business Administration in partnership with London Metropolitan University.

In addition to conducting lessons, I also support the students with a well-designed Internship Program, contribute with organizing leisure activities & workshops to help students adopt the new culture and coordinate real-life oriented engagement projects such as company visits or factory tours, represent the university at professional events such as Education Fairs and serve as a judge for competitions like the Mic Up Speaking Competition. Last but not least, I participate as a faculty member in the faculty’s decision-making process and also take on the role of invigilating official assessments.

My teaching experience extends across several countries and academic levels. Over the past years, I’ve gained invaluable classroom management skills by teaching diverse groups of students. Besides my role in Bangkok, I have taught English as a Second Language (ESL) for 2 years in Thailand and 3 months in Vietnam, along with volunteer experience teaching English to Vietnamese students, where I focused on developing their speaking skills through engaging activities.
